Spent the last couple of weeks staying in bed due to an unfortunate series of illnesses that I’ve caught since coming back from a brief sun-and-beach holiday in Langkawi. I’m all better now. Thanks for asking.

I would say that being sick is not all that bad - honestly. I’ve been spending my days in D-55-B alone since my housemates have all gone back to their respective destinations for the 3 months winter holidays of university. And there’s not much to do here anyways so I’m not missing anything significant happening around the world.

Except for that little thing called the New Year’s Party that’s making some kind of a buzz and everyone was celebrating it. Everyone apart from, of course, yours truly.

So me, myself, and I took time to catch up on a couple of TV shows that we have missed when we were working at MINI.

How I Met Your Mother S7 continued on Ted’s long journey to meet his wife. Mad Men was surprisingly good! I’m addicted. And Zooey Deschanel starred in a this series called New Girl. I gave it a try and made up my mind to discontinue watching it after 3 episodes.

I’ve always thought that she was adorable in 500 Days of Summer. But, in this new series she gets to be more like her real-life self. And oh boy is she weird. And very annoying.

But hey, if you’re into her and can’t get enough of her, watch it. You already know how I feel about it.
